Британский Совет - это британская международная организация.

* Мы открылись в России в 1945 году после победы Советского Союза, Великобритании и их союзников над фашизмом и закрылись в 1947 году из-за начала холодной войны.
* Мы снова открылись в 1967 году, когда был назначен наш представитель для работы при посольстве Великобритании в Москве.
* Последующие 26 лет мы занимались организацией академического, научного и культурного обмена.
* В 1992 году мы открыли первый информационный центр в Москве.

По сей день мы открываем доступ к образованию и творческим идеям из Великобритании и строим долгосрочные отношения между Великобританией и другими странами.
